Bobby Clark

Bobby is looking to make a name for himself whilst following in the footsteps of his Dad Lee by breaking through at Newcastle United. Both midfielders but where Lee was a more defensive player it looks as though Bobby will come through as a more attacking midfield player.

Bobby often starts in the central attacking midfield role, he tends to drift out to the left and try to cut inside on his right foot. Bobby is good physically, a pretty tough North East of England lad. He uses cuts and feints well and loves a turn without touching the ball.

He has developed well in terms of his passing and dribbling although he isn’t super fast, he makes up for this by thinking quickly, and playing on the front foot.

Bobby links play really well and he also runs in behind to create chances for himself. He scores all sorts of goals, shots from outside the box, 1v1s, and instinctive finishes. He is also able to pass and finish with his left foot.

Already one of the Newcastle U18s at just 14, scholarship sorted, and clear loyalties to his local team, he is now forging his way through the England age groups. There is increasing attention on Bobby but speaking in the media it seems his Dad wants him to stay with the Geordies for now.
