Zach is the perfect profile for a centre back, tall, very tall, and strong. He is a powerhouse in the air but having craft his skills at Arsenal’s Hale End academy since pre academy he will be a modern ball playing centre back too.
He is composed on the ball and loves to break up play, he could easily move forward into a holding midfield role depending on where the chance to break through comes. Zach is a leader in his age group and is captain material. Whilst many academy graduates are small and technical, Zach breaks the mould, he loves defending and lots of clubs around Europe have been watching his progress.
Zach has been playing through the age groups, often playing up one year in his earlier years, but by 16 he had a 23s debut to his name and was training on occasion with the first team.
He is a permanent fixture in the England 2004 group, also plays with the 2003s and has a good chance to continue at Arsenal past his scholarship and onto pro. He will be hoping this season coming to be with the first team for pre season.
