Curtis Jones is a central midfield player, he is any excellent link between defence and attack. He will often play in the holding role or in a box to box position and seems most comfortable when picking the ball up deeper in the pitch.
Curtis is really comfortable on the ball, he is composed in possession and fits the model of playing one and two touch, pass and move football. He is always on the move and creates spaces dragging opponents around the middle of the field, his problem solving, and decision making is excellent.
On the ball Curtis can also beat a player with good 1v1 attacking skills, his technical is well developed, and he stands out as a good all round central player. Curtis is right footed but often picks the ball up left of centre to carve inside.
At 19 he can claim 12 appearances in a title winning season for his boyhood club. He shot up the ranks at Liverpool playing in the 23s at 17 and then the first team a year later.
Curtis has also been through the age groups with England from 15 to 19 and looks set to become a regular fixture for club and country.
