Ben is an excellent ball technician, he is left footed and going to suit that role left of centre mid, or could player as a ten or in a box to box roll. He can use his right and is able to manipulate the ball quickly in tight spaces.
In youth football he has been a regular goal scorer and generally plays quite an attacking midfield role. He will drive the team forward, and loves to pick the ball up on the half way line and beat a player, he also has a pretty powerful strike so sets himself perfectly when he gets in and around the edge of the box.
At the age of 15 he had made his first team debut, coming on in the last couple of minutes of first round league cup match, becoming Exeter City’s youngest ever player. Perhaps not a shock, only that, he beat Champions League player Ethan Ampadu in doing that. That’s pretty good for a small club on the South West coast.
He has since gone on to make his league debut as well and now Ben is on the pathway to following Ethan out to one of England’s top clubs.
